Prior Experience
As a former Partner at Goren, Cherof, Doody, & Ezrol PA, Shana focused her practice on labor and employment law as well as municipal law. She served in multiple in-house roles as Labor Counsel, Deputy City Attorney, Police Legal Advisor, and Assistant General Counsel, adeptly counseling and representing dozens of municipal clients, local government entities, and private clients. Shana assisted clients with day-to-day advice; drafting and reviewing contracts; legislative matters; property matters; defending claims; litigation; appeals; investigations; arbitrations and administrative hearings; press releases; crisis management; advising on policy; governance; and conducting training on essential labor and employment topics. Her initiatives equipped clients to operate confidently, effectively, and efficiently within legal parameters.
Before joining private practice, Shana developed her litigation skills as an Assistant State Attorney at the Palm Beach County State Attorney's Office. There, she managed demanding caseloads ranging from 250-450 cases and gained extensive courtroom experience. This experience has equipped Shana with the ability to skillfully and relentlessly represent your interests in negotiations, court, arbitration, and administrative hearings.
